AFTER rooting, you can send aprontest commands to the Wink hub to accomplish local control. That way, you can control the stuff without Wink server or internet connection.


1. OpenHAB
This is how I integrated the Wink Hub with OpenHAB. It requires a Raspberry Pi (or some other computer) to run OpenHAB and process the curl commands. Allows for remote control AND automation.
