You wrote "per your sketch." To give credit where credit is due, the sketch (especially the one Arduino gateway) is computourist's by way of Felix at lowpower.com & Eric Tsai (Uber Instructable & founder of this forum). As I see it, my contribution is trying to simplify & document as much as possible & the Choose_Nodes version of computourist's work (based on a start by gandalph). I've also added several sensor possibilities, but they tap into the functionality that computourist provided.

Since Dec. 16, 2018, the Gateway & Choose_Nodes sketches linked above in this thread are now capable of creating up to three RFM69 networks, based on up to three gateways & nodes programmed to connect to one of them.
As of Feb. 8, 2019, this thread was updated above to work with MQTT 2.xx Binding.
