OpenHAB Server and a single Arduino

I would like to set OpenHAB up to talk to a single Arduino and configure it to turn certain GPIO pins on and off on the Arduino.

I have an Arduino and a relay board that I am trying to use to control a few lights but I am having trouble getting started.
