lewishollow has a look at the initial code for the RFID node and suggested to block SPI bus collisions in the sketch, rather than in the libraries.
The code is stable now and can be found at my github.
Every time you pass and RFID token at the reader a message will be generated, containing the unique token ID in ASCII. This can be used in Openhab to identify the token/person.
